Currently planning our upcoming season…

Catch a glimpse of what's in store! Our dedicated team is hard at work curating a season filled with enchanting performances and unforgettable experiences. Get ready to join us as we bring people together through the power of music and storytelling.

  • To all prospective youth music theater families: We want to share our confidence in what Arizona Lyric Theater and its founder and director Jenny Madruga Chavez will be offering young performers in the Valley. Our son was fortunate enough to work with Jenny on two musical theater productions. We owe her for not only enhancing his musical and technical skills but also fostering his genuine joy and love of musical theater and performance. It is through Jenny’s patience, enthusiasm, positivity, and her exceptional ability to infuse collaboration into the learning process that enables students to flourish. She not only encourages but motivates students to explore their creative boundaries. Jenny’s holistic approach will make Arizona Lyric Theater the ideal place for students to not only learn but to truly grow.

  • I can’t not wait to see all the change Arizona Lyric Theater is going to bring! I happen to have a child with autism, who also is a teenager. Community integration is so important to me at this stage in life. Also, doing theater has taught me personally so many lessons along with the stories having such powerful lessons it’s mind blowing when I sit back and realize, how many people either don’t have opportunity to have theater in their own lives, or don’t have it exposed to them in a way they can appreciate. From watching my daughter shrink at the idea of a venue full of other people, to watching her struggle because, she also cannot visually see to understand the actions being done by the cast, I see so many opportunities to shake up the rigid structures of what shows, how and where their shown to who is in them and what the subject matter is. I can’t wait to see all the opportunities that come from this new beginning. I can’t thank Jenny Chavez enough for taking the time, keeping this so close to her heart, and being willing to take a chance to do something just a little different. She is a Rockstar!
